"Lovely studio with everything we needed. Nicely furnished and clean, comfortable bed. Nice neighborhood and convenient to everything. Enjoyed walking around the lake! Donna the hostess was very nice and helpful with suggestions on area attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay again. "

"The interior overall was nice. However, there were dead lady bugs near most windows. The TVs were all on when we arrived. The TV in the King bed room didn't have a remote. The "curtains" in that bedroom are sheer, and the room faces the street, with a bright street light. There was no top sheet on the bed. "Excellent, clean, handicap accessible home with everything you need right where you are. Wheelchair friendly, baby friendly, toddler friendly, kid friendly, adult friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. "This property is very large and welcomed us as a family of 12. The kitchen is stocked excellent! The owner was very nice to deal with and was very accommodating. "Perfect place to rest, relax, read, whatever you want to do there. Central to many historic areas; 45 minutes to Gettysburg, 60-90 minutes to DC, 50-60 to Antietam, central to many others. Owners are awesome and very helpful. Place has about everything you need. Lots of wineries, breweries, restaurants, groceries within 20 to 30 minutes."

"Felt more remote than it is, which is just what we wanted. Spent lots of time in the gazebo. Odd design so that light shines into bedrooms from other rooms at ceiling, but slept great anyway. Well stocked and clean, very comfortable. We would return for another family get-together."

"We didn’t stay. We when arrived, instead of a room in the guest house, we were expected to stay in a tentlike structure. In addition, the bathroom facilities were outdoor showers and commodes that required a climb up a set of stairs. Luckily we were able to secure a room at another facility. The owner supposedly requested a refund for me but I haven’t heard whether this has been approved."

"This house was cute and quite charming. I enjoyed the authentic layout and features of the home with modern touches to ease the stay. You felt the charm of the 1800s with plenty of plugs and charging outlets for phones and devices. The towels and bedding were high quality and the window unit A/C in each room cooled us down from the summer heat easily. The town was quiet but it was a beautiful drive to tourist spots like Lancaster and Bird in Hand, PA. We would recommend this home."
