"The staff is exceptional. If we asked for something we got it instantly. I literally saw the front desk attendant running to retrieve towels for my family. They have free snacks and beverages available 24/7. We asked for tea packets which they normally stock as part of their breakfast menu. They were unfortunately out, but instead of disappointing us they dipped into their personal supply and gave it to us. Very small town friendly!!! The rooms are older and adequate. "This was my second stay and the first time I stayed there were fans in the hallway on the second floor and I wondered why. Well, this trip I found out. The odor of an illicit substance was very strong in the early hours of the morning…..when I woke up to use the restroom around 5am every morning it was extremely strong. Not cool. "Great property! We loved the historic property. Great location, close to restaurants and shops. Plenty of space for our group to spread out and relax. The bonus was that my dad had worked at Petit Cleaners in the late 1950s, so hearing stories about the building was a joy."
