The location was excellent and so easy to get to Legoland. It's surrounded by restaurants and grocery stores. The place itself had cute, relaxing decor, and was kept clean. It is an older home that's been updated, so kitchens and bathrooms are pretty cramped, but we thought the overall feel and layout was charming.
My one critique of the property itself was the beds/bedding. Both main beds were extremely soft, one was like swallow-you-up-whole soft. Pillows were flat and sheets were that slippery polyester kind like you would use on a child's bed. If you have any back issues or relish getting into a bed with crisp cotton sheets and fluffy pillows, I would not recommend this property. If they updated these items and fixed their checkin process, it could be a 5-star property.
Regarding checkin, they actually gave us the wrong door code to enter the property. With flight delays we didn't arrive until 1am, at which point no one would answer our calls or provide help. By a crazy stroke of luck, my daughters used deductive reasoning to guess the code and we were able to get in. Without that we would not have been able to access the property at all and would have had to find a hotel at a very late hour! A very stressful 20 minutes was spent outside at 1am trying to figure out what to do. Hopefully they will setup some kind of emergency line and/or test the code in the future so it doesn't happen to another family.
