Right on the slopes
Nice condo with nice amenities. The location is terrific. Elevator ride to the fifth floor and a short walk inside to the slope. End of day, ski down within a few yards of the front door. Nice hot tub. Close to the winter park resort for a short walk in the evening for dining or hanging out.

Nice ski-in/ski-out property at Winter Park
We enjoyed our stay at the Iron Horse during a recent ski weekend. The condo is comfortable, clean & well equipped and is reasonably priced for a ski-in/ski-out property at Winter Park. The Iron Horse property itself is a little outdated but we spent most of our time outdoors and did not use the community amenities. We would happily stay here again the next time we go to Winter Park.

Excellent ski in/ski out
Wonderful quiet property perfectly located to walk out and ski down to the gondola. At the end of the day, ski right to the entrance and lock your skis up for the day. Close vicinity to activities and a short drive to restaurants. Property was as described and a perfect space for the short trip that I took.

Great host, amazing property, excellent neighborhood, SO MUCH bang for your buck. The movie theme of the suite is incredible, but the garage apartment and all its careful attention to detail would stand out on its own. The quality bedding and super easy flow of check-in also make this a spot worth remembering. Thanks again!

Great location and cozy room
Leave your car in the heated garage while you ski in and ski out from this comfortable resort. Perfect for a holiday weekend. Nice pool and hot tub area. Room was very clean and well appointed.

Quaint and convenient
location is awesome….in the same building as the pool and hot tub and connected to the ski access point. Get right on the mountain. For our family of 4 it was fantastic now we had younger children. Older children might be a little more tight. Everything working condition. Would stay again!!

Very clean property conveniently located close to all Winter Park activities. The property has all of the necessities for worry free stay. Check in and out was extremely easy, there was ample communication from the owner as to what to expect. Will definitely stay there again.

Out-dated and moor communication
We have been to Winter Park four times now. We love the resort. We were looking for an economical adult ski trip. The description makes it sound like one can walk right out and ski. This is not far from the truth. However, getting back can be difficult if you are a novice skier as my girlfriend. In order to ski back into Iron horse, you have to come down the Mary Jane side of the mountain. She twisted her knee and had to be carried down the mountain.

WINTER PARK SKI TRIP
Great little apt. for three guys who love to ski! It had everything we needed for our stay. The real highlight was how close to the Gondola we were. We could just walk thru our building walk a few feet out the back door , put on our skis and ski down to the lift! We sure could get use to this! Hope to be back next year!

Excellent ski in/ ski out condo for 1 or 2 people
Excellent location if easy access to skiing is a primary objective with slopes just outside the condo complex and indoor parking under the building. Unit has a comfortable murphy bed and a nice big TV over the fireplace. Owners were very responsive during my stay. Building is a little dated and hot tub is currently closed for Covid (Jan 2021). Iron Horse is my go to location for 1 or 2 person ski trips to Winter Park. WP Village is a short 1/2 mile walk or you can ride the Lift Bus Green line during the day and Black line after 5:30pm. Note Green line picks up at the Bus depot near Zephyr Lodge versus at the main bus stop at the entrance to the village.

Great place!
Enjoyed our stay here, the ski in/out was a bit tricky for my partner who is only comfortable on greens, but we made it work. The apartment was nice, onsite laundry facilities were convenient, and it was great having a kitchen to cook in.
