"Amazing property . Loved the carved wood ceilings and wood panelled walls not to mention the secret door. Never seen so many books outside a library. unfortunately didn’t stay long enough to read any. Also a vast selection of DVDs. "Amazing bungalow in a lovely quiet area. Beds were so comfy I didn’t want to get out ! There were toys for the children, a jigsaw for the grown ups, dog treats and poop bags if you had a dog. We had crisps and biscuits left out for our arrival. What a nice touch. The hot tub was amazing, we didn’t want to get out of that either ! The only downside was we weren’t there long enough to enjoy it all. "

"Beautiful cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Great location as it’s a short drive to most popular Lake District attractions. Stunning scenery and spacious cottage make for a relaxing getaway. Kev welcomed us when we arrived and recommended places to visit including the local pub for pizza which was lovely! 100% recommend this cottage for anybody looking to visit the Lake District. The hot tub was a luxurious bonus which helped us relax after a long day of hiking. "

"Very pretty and had all we needed for self catering. Maybe a baking sheet, smaller saucepan and a baking dish would have been useful - not a big deal!Lovely to be next to the beck, loads of birds to watch and interesting places to visit.Drive from The Tan Inn to Hawes not for the faint hearted, narrow and very steep.Noticed a funny mark in the oven which I couldn't clean so emailed the office and someone came the next day to clean it - excellent. "A lovely designed cottage in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our long weekend stay for our son’s Birthday. We went on a couple of walks whilst we were there and the family relaxed at the cottage with added bonus of a hot tub to relax after the walks. We must also give a big mention to michael whose communication was first class, helping us with anything we needed and even suggesting to do and local taxi services. Prior to the stat and during he was always there to assist with anything we asked."

"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. "This is a gorgeous little property. We met Diane as we arrived, she was so lovely and accommodating (nice little touch was the biscuits and doggy treats. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable, the kitchen/living area was small but well equipped (no cooking on holiday!). We will certainly go back to The Bothy next time we are in the area."
