"This quaint old world weatherboard cottage was charming and unique with its original paintings by a recognised WA artist. Being set in the middle of farming land allowed us to view all the beautiful local birdlife and the Aurora Australis at night. Our UK grandchildren were charmed by all the birdlife as well as the local roos and emus in the neighbouring paddocks. The cottage was well stocked and basics were provided. Being small there wasnt really any room for us to put our own provisions....

"The one big down fall for this apartment was no Wi-Fi. It also did not mention this in the description, if it had I would not of booked to stay there. I feel in this day and age Wi-Fi is essential with people travelling and keeping in touch, work commitments. When I checked with reception I was told this apartment is privately owned. Although clean and well equipped it needs a refresh of paint as looking rather worn out."

"A short drove from town but feels totally rural and close to nature. Kangaroos, birds and close to forest trails. Loved the outdoor shower and shelves of books, great coffee and plenty of staples. My son loved hanging out in the trees and exploring with the hosts young daughter - and loved the free dogs and apples we were kindly gifted. Comfy beds and plenty of space. We will be back!"

"An amazing and beautiful place, superb location, roughly halfway between the town and beach. The cottages are really comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you need. "Very nice place for a couple to stay. John and family were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The pool, sauna and other nice touches make this a place you should want to stay. A lot of thought has gone into the accommodation and we really appreciated this."

"My wife and I stayed at The Green Room for 3 nights. It had very nice facilities that made our stay very enjoyable, like the private courtyard and well appointed kitchen facilities. The bed was a nice and comfortable King sized bed. The Green Room was a great base to explore the fantastic Margaret River region. "
