"This place is huge! There was plenty of room for us to spread out and not get in each other's way. The pantry was also well stocked with things you might have forgotten to bring, which was a plus. The area is in a quiet neighborhood except, of source, for the coqui frogs that plague Hawaii. Even those can be charming with the right mood. We enjoyed a really relaxing stay here and appreciated the convenience to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Sadly, our departure was on a day when the nearby Cafe...

"Lovely quiet place to stay in Volcano for a few days! Just a couple miles down the road from Kilauea, and within a half mile walk of a few shops and restaurants. Bed was comfy, shower was nice and kitchen had what we needed."

"We enjoyed everything about the house and the location was perfect for visiting volcano national Park. Choices of restaurants and grocery stores is limited. Would’ve liked to known that we were living above somebody. That was not made clear and I learned it from the reviews. House has lovely scenery, only one TV and no cable. We were busy sightseeing most of the days and so it was not a big problem."

"Great location… just a short ride to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (5 minutes). Beautiful house in an ohia fern forest setting with an outdoor hot tub which was fun for the kids. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the Macnut chocolates and coffee provided was a nice touch! Would definitely rent again! It was a nice relaxing getaway with the family. "

"Got in on a Friday evening and was greeted by the chirp of the smoke alarm in the master bedroom--the battery was dying. Even though the next day was a Saturday, the host had his handyman (who was a very nice fellow) arrive with ladder and a fresh battery. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood (the sheep next door sleep through the night and are charming during the day.)"
