"Very charming townhouse, great location. Stairs heading to the second floor were a little steep, but easy enough manage once you get used to it. Kitchen was spacious and larger than anticipated. Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming as well."

"This extremely well renovated historic site could not possibly be in a better location for exploring Frederick. Danny was very responsive and checking in and out were easy. Keep in mind it's an historic site at the intersection of two streets, half a block from the art center and a lovely bridge across the creek - all positives, but you do need to keep privacy in mind. Sort of like a condo at the beach right on the boardwalk. Regardless, we're already talking about this spot becoming our go-to...

"We were at the cabin for an extended stay of 28 days. This was a work from home situation too. There are many impressive factors to staying there. It’s rustic in some respects with a highly slanted plank board floor upstairs. Rustic means that one should expect some bugs inside with an 1850s structure, in addition to the slant. "Property was very dirty and not ready for us at all when we got there. Towels all still in the laundry along with random socks, dishes in the dishwasher, old moldy food in the fridge, chips in the couch, the list could go on. Was not fun to show up to a filthy house. Location of this house was pretty good, not a rough area. There are 3 real beds and then 2 sleeper sofas not 7 beds like the listing said. Vrbo didn't really care about helping us in our issues either, will not be using it from now...

"Wonderful place to stay to attend a lacrosse tournament. Location was peaceful and within walking distance to downtown. Great place to walk to dinner, ice cream, coffee shops, etc. Also, this location was close to the interstate. Communication with Ms. Zook was top notch. The home had many amenities to include a great kitchen space to cook meals... Spacious and great beds!"

"In town for Frederick 1/2 Marathon. Terrific location for enjoying all that Frederick has to offer. Walking distance to restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops. The apartment was spacious and had a very comfortable couch. Kitchen had new appliances. The one downside was that hot water heater was not functioning properly. Had to deal with luke warm showers at best. Fix it and I’ll stay again."

"We didn’t stay. We when arrived, instead of a room in the guest house, we were expected to stay in a tentlike structure. In addition, the bathroom facilities were outdoor showers and commodes that required a climb up a set of stairs. Luckily we were able to secure a room at another facility. The owner supposedly requested a refund for me but I haven’t heard whether this has been approved."

"We were very disillusioned with the inside of the property in contrast to the description. We were prepared for the working farm environment however, during the course of our stay we killed over 8 dozen flies. Cobwebs were present throughout the inside of the property and "complimentary toiletries" were in actuality well-used, full-size bottles of various items hanging on a shower caddy. The shower curtain rod was not attached to the wall but rather sitting atop wood trim above the shower walls....
