"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"The communication with the property owner was fantastic....This is truely a hidden gem.....Nature, quietness, calmness galore!! A great place to relax and enjoy. The fire pit is sensational. "A Large property with a comfortable 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home, with a panoramic view to the river. There is a large undercover veranda which is a great place to sit and take it all in. The large spa pool was a big hit with the children, and the coffee machine was essential to the adults. Access to the river was about 1km away where we launched our runabout boat. Spiders in downstairs toilet and nowhere to wash hands after being to downstairs toilet, could not turn on wash basin tap (arthritis hands) so had to wash them in kitchen sink, not hygenic.
