"Such a beautiful place to stay. Parking and laundry on site. We stayed 2 nights in a Deluxe King Studio. Magnificent. Nothing bad to say about this property. Easy to find, close food options and the property managers were very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this property. Was my favorite property to stay at on our SI 7 day trip. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Last minute stay and had we more time I would have liked to extend our visit. The owners are meticulous about their cabins and property. Have thought about every little detail to make your stay as safe and comfortable as possible. Stunning views of the mountains and countryside. The lawns and gardens are beautiful and we loved watching the little rabbits bobbing around. It is definitely a labour of love and the owners should be commended. Pat and Hugh C."

"We enjoyed our stay at this unique location. The view was outstanding and we were very comfortable here. The steep driveway is not for everyone, but our vehicle was small and we’re good at using mirrors to reverse. Hey, this town boasts the steepest street in the world! We navigated it alright.The location is a quick drive to the central part of Dunedin, the St Clair Hot Salt Pool, and Lamarck Castle. A lovely drive to the end of the peninsula to see the albatross and penguins, too."

"The only reason I am marking this down is because there was a grand total of the kitchen. There were no sponges, tea towels or dishwashing supplies. There wasn't a full set of cooking equipment so it was difficult to cook for a group. The plates, glassware, mugs and cutlery etc. were cheap and unmatched. "We loved the Professor’s house, great jazz wonderful books, beautiful views and a cosy house what more could you want on a winter break. Felt special to share in his wonderful family home. There was plenty of room, comfy beds, and a great shower. The sourdough loaf was much appreciated and completely consumed.
