Cottage with great view!

GREAT PLACE
OVERALL, EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC. IF I WANTED TO BE REAL PICKY...THE KITCHEN WAS SMALL EVENTHOUGH IT HAD ALMOST EVERYTHING AND THE TV WAS IN THE LIVINGROOM ONLY, NONE IN THE BEDROOM. WE WOLD DEFINATELY STAY THERE AGAIN.

We had a wonderful time at this comfy cottage by the water. Just a few minutes from tow but totally peaceful and laid back. Cottage lives up to its fine reviews. We were lucky to have unusually warm weather so we could enjoy the outside more than we expected for November.

Quiet, peaceful and very pretty
The location is far enough away from highway and town that it is very quiet and peaceful. The house is well furnished and was very clean. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

Excellent choice for our wedding weekend
My now husband and I needed a place to stay in Woodstock for our wedding weekend and we couldn't have picked a better location! Everything was clean and well put together. My husband spent the morning of our wedding sitting by the creek reflecting on the day ahead. Absolutely would stay here again

Short getaway
Came to the cottage for some solitude and quiet between jobs. This was just what the doctor ordered. Close enough to town for easy access, but far enough away that it was always quiet and peaceful. Sitting in the chairs on the river was truly amazing. Jane was a fantastic host; would definitely recommend staying here, and would happily come back on my next trip to Woodstock.

Peaceful Relaxing Getaway
We were visited by 2 deer each evening and there is a resident ground hog which we enjoyed, Being able to walk to town is a stretch of the truth as the road is busy with no walking path however it is a very short ride. We had 2 good meals in Allason restaurant and caffe coffee shop is superb. I just wish we had a king size bed and a bit larger of a shower. All in all a very nice cottage with a lovely stream and a lot of tranquility.

Beautiful and Quiet
We were in town for an event at Levon Helm Studios, and because of the schedule for the rest of the week, we only booked the cottage for one night. That said, we both felt that we wished we could stay a while, a long while, like live there. The property is beautiful, and the cottage is immaculate and Jane has exceptional taste in how the cottage was built, and decorated. It is a beautiful, inviting space, If you are looking for a space to feel at peace with the world, this is it.

Peace, Love and Woodstock
An absolutely wonderful streamside cottage so close to downtown Woodstock. The cottage was perfectly equipped and peaceful indoors and out. Jane is a wonderful host. The trip will bring you memories of the peace and love hippie generation, and all of the great music that went along with it. Excellent place to stay in a great, or should I say, groovy location.
