"This is a very unique property and worth staying in for a few nights. If you appreciate historical architecture and charm, it's worth it. The sound of the waterfall while you sleep is absolutely hypnotizing - unbelievable! Of note however; the steep stairs to the second floor are not for people with mobility issues and the lack of a bathroom upstairs is a small inconvenience. "

"To start its a storage building not a tiny cabin. It looks like host or someone is staying there while they are working on house next door. So close you can see in windows. He was working that day, so no peace and quiet. Air didnt cool. Stayed 5 hours and went home. Worst birthday gift ever. Dont waste your time or money."

"My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cabin for our girl's trip. Everything was very clean, and we were impressed by the extras that were provided - hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, shampoo/conditioner, olive oil, salt/pepper in grinders, and a collection of spices. There was an excellent selection of dishes and cookware. This was a rustic, cozy cabin with high end finishes and details. You will not regret staying here!"

"We enjoyed our stay in the cabin! The cabin was well equipped with all necessities. It was nice sitting in the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch and looking out into the woods from the back. Only problem was the mosquitos but there was a can of OFF under the bathroom sink! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing and calm vacation that is in close proximity to state park with hiking trails. 20 minute drive to Walmart but it seemed faster."

"This is a repeat rental (5 years so far) for our family of grown children and grandchildren. We raft and play in the river, disconnect 90% from technology (but the wi-fi is great), play games and prepare meals in the family/style kitchen equipped with everything we need. Host Estelle is always responsive. The memories made here are some of the grandchildren’s fondest memories - as well as all the rest of us. It is our ‘happy place’, and always feels like coming home! "
