My daughter and I stayed for two nights, while visiting my son. The hotel from the staff to amenities to location were spot on.
The positives:The staff, from reception to housekeeping, were lovely, friendly but not pushy. The amenities: pool was gorgeous, not too warm but not cold either, I’d recommend going early so you can fantasise that’s it’s your own. The rooms were spotless clean, towels big enough to cover a curvy person and so fluffy. Bonus for the biscuits. Breakfast was buffet style, we found the last day that you can also order porridge or eggs if you’re not a fan of fried eggs. Location is a stones throw from the train station, the river and a short walk to shops, pubs and cafes and the cathedral and has two Tesco express’ on the doorstep. The outside is a bit tatty with litter but don’t lay that put you off. The local stand to move on and the hotel was really quiet from any traffic noise once inside, although I find Worcester is quiet anyway.
The negatives: The hairdryer in the leisure part didn’t work, if you’re an unkempt soul(me) it was fine, if you are not I’d suggest taking your own, I’m also sure they can be found at reception, I just didn’t want to drip everywhere. The beds were so comfortable, you might just be tempted to stay there and not see anything you came to see or do!
