"Home was just as listed. Perfect size for 3-4 people. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable accomodations close to Baxter State Park. Property manager very gracious and accomodating when I made an error in our departure date. I would definitely stay again."

"Wonderful property, beautiful lake, nice house but it needs some improvements. It need to be cleaner. I know it is a wilderness camp but it needs a through cleaning. All food items should be removed after each guest departs. Food items attract mice and the house is infested with mice. We caught over a dozen while we were there. No one has cleaned behind the washer dryer in the last year. The throw on the couch was filthy. It needs a thorough cleaning. The stairs to the 2nd floor need to be...

"Had a very nice, relaxing time. Cabin was clean and organized. The road getting to the cabin was off roading so AWD/4WD SUV/Truck is required. The lake was relaxing, the fire pit was great. The dog loved it. Jerry’s is the grocery store in town and was fantastic. Highly recommend. "

"The camp is exactly what you would expect in northern Maine on the water. The location is very private due to the trees and rocks down by the water. There is a small beach on the property as well. Owner was very responsive and took care of an issue right away. Would certainly stay again."

One brave soul even took the paddle board out around the nearby island to get sunset pictures. Our host was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again if ever in Northern Maine. "We stayed over the July 4th week to be near other family and attend some events. The camp was clean, cozy and had everything you could want/need- kitchen was very well equipped with anything you'd need for meal prep, including basics (salt, sugar, oil, spices,etc...). Lots of extra towels, linens, beach towels. Comfortable beds with views of the lake and little balcony off upstairs bedrooms. There was everything you could want for outdoor fun- paddle boards, kayak, canoe, motor boat, solo fire...

"This was the best lakehouse my family has ever stayed at. It was quiet, comfortable, there was a dock to swim off, a raft to swim to, it was private, it hit all the best amenities of staying at a lake. My kids want to live there now (9 and 11 years old). "This is an old fashioned camp, but with the update of electricity and indoor plumbing. It maintains that rustic camp life feel with a little more comfort. I will note that this is a bring your own sheets and towels rental. "
