"After spending some days in Hong Kong and Taipei, it felt wonderful to stay at Butchards Villa, so quiet and beautiful. It is really an oasis. We were welcomed by Melissa the receptionist, she was so sweet, we were offered fruit, waffles and coffee free of charge. Our room was very big, nice bath, overlooking the front off the hotel. "観覧船が目の前です！立地は素晴らしいです。 日月潭のバスターミナルからも徒歩5分程で到着できます。 2017年にリノベされたそうでモダンで綺麗でした。 またこちらのスタッフさんがなんと言っても素晴らしかったです。 この日は日本語を話せるスタッフが不在との事でしたが、皆さん翻訳機で変換させながら気を配ってくださいました。 天候は雨で楽しみにしていた、サイクリングができずでしたが、ご主人が湖畔をウォーキングに連れてくださり嬉しかったです。 歩きながら歴史、文化を説明して下さり、今まで幾人の旅行者を案内して来たと思いますが、とても親切丁寧で感心しました。 ただ私達が困った事で今後の旅行者の方に伝える事はこの宿泊施設に限らず、日月潭には換金所がありません。周辺ホテルも含めて。 日月潭に入る前にある程度換金してから入る事をお勧めします。 周辺中華店もカードが使える場所が限られてます。 "

"Einfach nur toll! Ich war 2 Wochen in Taiwan in 5 Hotels und dies war die beste Unterkunft! Ich würde es auch nicht als Frühstückspension (B&B) sondern als 4*Sterne Hotel ohne Pool bewerten. Die Matratze war super. Die Regendusche toll und es gibt ein Dusch-WC! Alle Annehmlichkeiten, z.B. Frotteebadeschlappen, stehen zur Verfügung. Das beste ist aber das Frühstück!
