Wonderful Spot: Just a few things to know ahead of time
The property is wonderful, let's get that out of the way. It's cozy, right on the water, easy walk to the cove or into town. It's wonderful. Go get some really really good coffee at Green Salmon or Crab eggs bene (GF bread/English muffin available!) at the Drift Inn restaurant. All those lovely attributes aside, you should know a few things. The listing doesn't state this:No toiletries are provided, no tiny soaps, no little shampoos or anything. Bring yours or you'll need to pop into town for some. There is an espresso machine, like a real one, but no coffee is in the house. Bring some espresso or coffee (no grinder )if you want it. Or go enjoy really good coffee from the shop in town. The fireplace in the master bedroom doesn't work. There's a Dyson heater/cooler in there but it won't stay on for more than 15-30 minutes. If you account for these, you'll really enjoy your stay.

We've enjoyed our stay here before. And feel like the kitchen is really well appointed. There are some things that could be addressed. There's a lot of remote controls and a lot of buttons and stuff that we're not sure what they do. Couldn't figure out the fireplace in the master bedroom, and in the guest bedroom the panel of where the lights should be was kind of confusing. Also the dishwasher is totally rubbed off as far as where start and what kind of wash you want. These are things that can be probably fixed pretty easily. Also in the master bedroom the small window is broken and rested shut.

Great location
Overall this place is great. It could use a better cleaning job. Washer is clearly marked on how to use but the dishwasher could use the same. The buttons are so worn you can not tell what cycle to push. Location and view are awesome

Perfect stay for our family
We rented this house as a family of four with a dog for a holiday weekend. The location was amazing. The house is directly across the small (quiet) road from the ocean allowing for amazing views from most of the house. Beach access was a short walk away, and the town was only a couple minutes by car. The house was clean with comfortable furnishings and plenty of space for all of us. Some of the appliances were old and worn, but still functional. The hot tub was very clean and ready to use. We discovered the supplied coffee grinder was broken, and a new one was delivered quickly after we reported it. We would return to this rental.

Beach Dreams Start with this View
We wanted a family get together where we could relax, and we got it. Across the street (not busy) to the tidal pools or a short walk to the sandy beach. The house is great inside and well stocked with just about anything you might have forgot. It's a short drive into town and worth exploring. Have no problem recommending this home.

House Has Spectacular View, Could Use More Attention to Details
Agate Point has a spectacular view of the pounding waves. The landscaping and lawn are nice, and the master bed is comfortable. We were grateful we could bring our dogs. But the house could be cleaner; for example, the wooden furniture in the living room, along with the top of the fireplace there, hadn't even been dusted. The handle on the window in the master bedroom was broken, so we couldn't open it. Besides sliding glass doors -- one of which was very hard to open and close and none of which we felt comfortable leaving open at night -- there may be only one other opening window in the house (with no screen?). Also, there was no bulb in the light fixture outside the living room where it gives onto one side of the deck. We had to use a flashlight there at night. The light switches are hard to find and match with fixtures. More towels and dishes would be welcome, as would more bedcovers. The house is quite close to the ocean, but, to reach a sandy beach, you have to walk or drive a little way down the road. Below the house, on the other side of the road, are only big rocks. Sea lions like to lounge on ones just a short walk up the road. The cloth vacuum cleaner bag was full and had to be emptied, with some effort. Only then could we clean the house before checking out. The stools in the kitchen and living room aren't overly comfortable. The house is well worn and lived in -- comforting if you're bringing dogs but less than ideal if you're looking for a pristine environment.

Amazing Views But Needs a Little Love
The location of this place is amazing. It has the view that everyone drives to see the sunset. The place is filled with windows, so you get an amazing view from every room. The kitchen is very well appointed and had everything we needed. However, this place is in dire need of basic maintenance. A lot of small items needed attention but the property manager was accommodating and helpful.

Agate point house
We loved the house. It was in a great location and it had different seating areas to enjoy the views of the ocean. We thought the beds were comfortable. The propane wasn’t working at the house, so no fireplaces or cook top burners. The management company did leave electric burgers for us to use, and they did communicate the day before we arrived the propane situation. We still had an amazing stay and really enjoyed the house. Loved the rooftop hot tub.

Great place
Fireplace was not working when we were staying here so house got cold but they did have a small space heater. They were very helpful. Great place. They allow pets which is so important to me and family members. I would recommend this place to others.

Great location, main bed not great.
We loved the location but we found a few issues. First the oven racks were wrapped with aluminum and made a horrible hot metal smell when we turned on the oven. Easy fix but gave me and my fiancé a slight headache. Also the bed in the primary bedroom is old and very uncomfortable. Highly suggest a new mattress!!!

Paradise
A short walk from beautiful Yachats, by chance hosting a delightful Celtic Festival, we were otherwise treated to the sights and sounds of waves meeting the rocky coast and leaving fresh water and foam. Tide pools and a spouting blowhole across the road from our house. Our weather was near perfect and sunsets never disappointed. We'll be back!

Great home with amazing views!
The views from this house are spectacular! It’s right on the water and a short short distance from a beach! Loved everything about this house from the appliances, to the comfy beds, to the hot tub, and even the skylight! The only complaints we had is that the floor in the master room was soaked with what we assume was pet cleaning products and stayed soaked for the entire stay. The espresso machine didn’t work, both fire places were out of order, and the fridge and freezer’s were down as well. We were provided with a mini mini fridge but still it would have been nice to know before showing up so we could have brought a cooler or something as well. Thank you for an amazing stay! Look forward to returning in the future!

Wonderful Oceanside Hope me
This is a lovely home along the ocean in Yachats. We saw marine wildlife every day and spent many hours walking along the coastline. It was a perfect get away!

this cozy but comfortable house sits just across the road from breaking waves and is in walking distance of yachats. enjoyed morning coffee watching the waves and evenings the sunsetting in the ocean is to die for as well as the beach access across in front of the house. housekeeping crew is great. house was spotless with enough things on hand to make our stay more than comfortable. would definitely stay again. the ocean odessy groupwas great to work witj.

Great ocean view
House was extremely well stocked for cooking , upscale appliances. Great location with view of ocean and river across the road and an easy walk to the beach or town, good layout, lots of windows, roof top hot tub was immaculate.The two main heat sources were out of commission, but Dyson portable heaters were supplied. Storm blew off the chimney cap causing major leak,property manager had repair man out asap . The technology equipment DVD , I pad station,Play Station are nice . TV system was a bit tricky ,which remote to use etc.,but ROKU allowed NETFLICKS. Owners have made the house very comfortable and we appreciated being able to take our pup..We hope to return.
