Privacy and Communication
Although Gillian Moreland, the Host lives next door, we have not met face to face throughout our two days' stay. This gave us a sense of privacy. Communication was through Stayz and later by text. In all Gillian was prompt in her responses. The indepedent studio was big and clean and it was easy to leave it the way we found it.

A great retreat, once again
This is my third time here in a year; I feel it's been my sanctuary, a home away from home. It allowed me the chance to unwind while addressing my sister's health concerns, and this time it was warm enough to allow for me to swim laps everyday in their well-sized pool. Great internet connectivity, including ease of handling Zoom calls. The location is close to shops and beaches, and while a bit hard to find the first time. it turns out to be very centrally located. The layout of the room is very convenient; clean and modern and yet plenty of storage. The lack of a proper oven and stove are weaknesses shared with other options in the region, but having an induction cook surface worked really, really well. The hosts kept to VRBO's commitment to privacy and yet were always there when needed. And the price was extremely cost effective given the cost of nearby hotels. I plan to come here every time I visit!

Central Coast Oasis
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this super quiet Central Coast oasis. All I could hear were the birds! Everything I needed was provided, as well as off street parking and no stairs. Look forward to going back again.

We really enjoyed the short stay at Coastal Serenity. Handy to a lot of beachy type walks. We had everything that we needed to cook meals and a Thai restaurant a couple of minutes away with good food. It was located such that it allowed us to explore a part of the country that we hadn't been to. The accommodation was very clean and tidy lacked nothing for the very reasonable price. Thanks to the folk who own it!! We will be back.

Relaxing stay
We enjoyed our time. The cottage has everything you need. Quiet, relaxing property, close to shops and several beautiful beaches a short drive away. This is a great relaxing place to base your visit to the Central Coast.

Once again, a perfect base camp
This is the second time I have stayed here - 5 weeks over 4 months. I was here helping my sister grapple with declining health, and I needed some place where I could unwind and relax.. I could not ask for a more ideal place; off the beaten track but easy to get to; close to shops; clean and well-supplied for modest cooking; hosts who allowed me space, unless I needed something, or someone to chat with. I also needed to handle some work calls late at night, plus a few zoom calls for my sister and myself with various people. The internet worked well, and I never felt I was waking up anyone, no matter the hour. The pool looked super inviting but it was too cold (and rainy) for much of the time I was here. There spa/hot tub though was wonderful, and they would heat that up on demand. Finally, the grounds are very lovely, and tons of birds, and even a random wallaby or 2. I truly felt I was at a resort which I had to myself!

Everything went well. Our hosts noticed our car window was down in torrential rain. When they were unable to reach us via an email they courageously braved the downpour to secure the opening with plastic. This kindness was greatly appreciated.

The stay was perfect for our needs to stay in the area. We often got lost as we had never been there before, but we enjoyed the rainforest environment as we had not known what to expect.

Very private getaway
This unit was a little gem. Although it was at the back of a main residence it was very private. We only saw our hosts twice and that was when we arrived and when we departed. Highly recommend for those looking for a quiet, private getaway in beautiful grounds.

Idealic property located very close to all amenities, beaches and retail but hidden away from it all. Unfortunately due to wet weather we did not use the pool and spa but wouldve been perfect on a hot summers afternoon. Hosts Gillian and Lionel were perfect and very available and accommodating. Thank you both for your hospitality.

Great couple’s overnight stay
Nice space for a couple for an overnight stay. Beautifully clean, lovely surroundings. Lounge and chairs uncomfortable. Address hard to find initially. Host communication easy and excellent.
