Egress
We could only fine one means of egress, which was the entry door with the keypad. There is another door on the ground level, but it was locked and the lockbox keys did not open it. In addition, there appeared to be a door inside that leads to the ground level, but that was also locked and no key was provided. This may be in violation of the Maine fire code and should be corrected. I believe the code states that two means of egress are required in residential buildings.

We enjoyed our stay on York Beach in a lovely 3 story house across the street from the beach. Home was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Location was great, minutes from Nubble Lighthouse and center of town.

Beautiful Beach House
This is the second time my friends and I have stayed in this beautiful home. The location is perfect and the kitchen, living room and deck are wonderful places to hang out and relax. The shower door in the downstairs bathroom is broken and needs to be replaced. And the full bed really needs a new mattress and it would be nice to have a Queen in that room. Overall we had a great stay!

Loved the beach
The house was absolutely gorgeous as was the location. We were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness....rug under table had shredded cheese on it, hair in showers and/or carpet in downstairs bedroom, and some food crumbs on floor of living room. Also, all 3 beds downstairs were not even made. Our sheets were still in the dryer.

Long sands beach getaway
This was fantastic property with plenty of space (bedrooms and living spaces) to accommodate a larger group. The house was well stocked with plenty of kitchenware, cookware, extra blankets and pillows, etc.. Great location with easy access to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is that the 10am check-out time was unreasonably early given that 11am-12pm is a more standard allowance at other properties. While late check-out was provided as an option, the extra-cost required to do so was a put-off, particularly given the cost we already paid to stay. My recommendation would be to reconsider the allowed check-out time so as to not make future guests feel rushed to get out so early at the end of their vacation.

Great Place for Easter Family Vacation and Dinner
This home was very clean and very "homy". We have stayed in similar places in York Beach and they were very sterile and vacation industry basic. This place however was great. You can walk to the lighthouse and on the beach quite easily. There is a bathroom on each floor and multiple decks. I like that is is not directly on route 1 but separated by one home distance from the road. It makes the home a bit quieter. We had our Maine family over for dinner and there were enough plates and cookware. We would stay here again for sure.

Better than expected!
This property is absolutely gorgeous and trimmed out with all the necessities. Nearly every room has ocean views for a very relaxing time. I would note that the property is tight between other houses, but the comfort level inside is a 10. Lots of room and could easily fit 2 families comfortably.

Winter Beach Holiday Weekend
We were blown away at the quality of this oceanfront beach house. The water is across the street much many rooms enjoy a nice view and the space itself is very conducive for both togetherness or some peace and quiet if needed. Would certainly stay here again!

Girlfriend Getaway
The property was very clean, comfortable and had just about everything you need to make your stay special. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. Loved the gorgeous beach across the street and the great views. Our only minus was our lack of knowledge to figure out how to operate the TVs. And all the deck furniture for the lower deck was gone. Would have loved to sit out there. I’d rent this house again.

Home, from the story the pictures told it was top notch. Two Of the four beds mattress were shot, I woke up the first night with the worst backache. . Also the both couches you can feel The springs when you sit. Very sad. I had to Sleep On an air mattress. Looked for Compensation and the GM at Vacasa said No However the homeowner gave us $1000. Not Enough. Still Cost Me 1900 A Nite To sleep On an air mattress

Beautiful home in ideal location
We stayed for a winter wedding weekend. 3 couples stated, and each of us had our own private space. The living are was open concept and perfect for hanging out. The view was a stunning and windows all looked out over the beachfront. We went for a brisk walk on the seawall Saturday morning and ate a delicious lunch at Lobster Cove. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect!

Perfect place to relax!
Walked across the street each morning and watched the sunrise! It was perfect! The house has everything you would need- stereo system linked to every floor- even the bathroom! Great beds, plenty of bathrooms for 8 of us and an open kitchen concept with wet bar and fireplace with sliders to a walk out balcony overlooking the ocean!! It was truly amazing!

We recently stayed at the property with dear friends. Had so many laughs. Grocery store is close by and many wonderful restaurants within walking/driving distance. I wish the house had more deck furniture so that we could all sit outside - upper deck had no furniture for sitting out. Beautiful home and would certainly recommend to others.

Perfect place for a girlfriends getaway
We stayed at the property for a few days for my friends bachelorette. The house was very clean, well maintained and perfect for a bigger group with space for everyone. The multi-level home provides plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen, dining and living area on the main level are perfect for gathering and being able to all socialize. The location is perfect for some quiet beach time and awesome views. The drive to Short Sands and local shops was very quick and there were many great places to see and plenty to do. York is a beautiful town. We are hoping to make this a yearly tradition.

Family Getaway
Phenomenal experience staying at this property. House was very clean and well kept. Plenty of space on main floor for dining/drinking/hanging with friends/family. Prime location directly across from beach. Getting entertainment system up and running to its fullest capabilities (music/surround sound for TV) was a challenge I never figured out but all things considered this property checked all of our boxes. I’d recommend.
