"We enjoyed this beautiful two bedroom property in a quiet section of York near the train station. The hosts were very friendly and communicated with us frequently. They left us a lovely welcome basket, coffee supplies, and milk in the fridge. The property is beautifully furnished and finished. "

"We had a lovely stay in this heritage property in York. Check-in was easy and all communication with the hosts was timely and friendly and helpful. The house is in a great location. We did not have a car and easily walked or took city buses to/from the train station and attractions. "Our main objective in visiting York was the trains! We especially enjoyed the York Minster, the wall, the Shambles & the incredible history. The Friargate location was perfect for our group of 8. Highly recommend this comfortable, beautifully decorated home. Only snag was getting a parking ticket for parking a van in the designated spot in front of the house. "

"Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday...

"Really enjoyed staying here, it was nice to be so close to york city centre as it made it easier to plan the day and fit in more activities. Also, it allowed us to enjoy the nightlife without worrying about getting a taxi or a long walk back. The actual property itself was not so small you're struggling for space, but small enough that it didn't feel like we were occupying more realestate than we needed.
