"This is our second time staying at the Lion Downe Cabin, and we hope to return for a third visit. The outdoor hot tub in winter is "the bomb." Wonderful to sit outside in the cool, crisp air, looking at the stars from a nice warm jetted tub. Everything worked correctly. Even though we were there in winter, the walkway is clear (sanded and salted). The cabin was warm and cozy. Comfortable beds. "We needed to be in Rochester for Health appointments on Dec 26, so siblings, parents, and a few of the adult children gathered here on Christmas day to be together. Some family stayed at a hotel, but there was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy food and drinks together. We made 3 pots of soup and had bread and appetizers and the kitchen was very functional. Everyone was happy with sleeping accommodations as well."

"My friends and I fell in love with this sweet cabin, the town of Pepin and the nearby towns up and down the river. The location of this space is excellent. Walkable to a couple of great restaurants (Harbor View Cafe! What a gem!) and the marina. The balcony had great views of the river, even with the boats up for the winter, and great sunset views. The train is a frequent passerby, but the white noise machines in each bedroom made it a nonissue. I will definitely be back! "
