What you can expect
Test yourself like never before on this 19-day Everest, Annapurna and Chitwan tour. Explore Kathmandu and the world's highest peaks and their remote mountaintop villages.
Day 1:
Arrive at the airport, check-in to your hotel and explore the sights of this captivating capital.
Day 2:
Adventure out into the vibrant streets of Kathmandu for a full-day exploration.
Day 3:
Take a short flight to Lukla, a small mountain town and gateway to the Everest region. Begin the first part of the hike: to the valley of Dudh Kosi then down to Phakding Village.
Day 4:
Hike through the narrow valley of the Dudh Kosi River, passing through Sherpa villages until reaching the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. Begin your ascent to Namche Bazaar.
Day 5:
Acclimatize to the altitude at Namche Bazaar, one of the most beautiful villages in the Himalayas. Test your bartering skills at the bustling Saturday market. There is an optional hike to the famous Everest View Hotel.
Day 6:
Begin the climb through the hillsides above Namche and your descent towards the picturesque village of Khumjung.
Day 7:
Climb to the Tengboche Monastery and make your ascent to Tengboche through the Kaani gateway. Take in views of the valley below showcasing peaks of the Khumbu region.
Day 8:
Take a return trek to Namche.
Day 9:
Take a return trek to Lukla.
Day 10:
Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 11:
Drive to Pokhara and Nayapul and take a short walk to the prosperous village of Birethanthi.
Day 12:
The trail begins directly out of Birethanti. Trek through bamboo forests, past waterfalls, beyond pastures, across bridges, meander along rivers and climb a stone staircase into the clouds. The trail will end in the village of Ghorepani.
Day 13:
Climb to the lookout point of Poon Hill. The trek continues through the hamlets of Deurali and Banthanti until its end in Tadapani.
Day 14:
Make a steep descent through the forest to Ghandruck, the second largest Gurung settlement in Nepal.
Day 15:
Follow a river valley through the beautiful birch forest and terraced rice fields to Birethanti. Arrive at Nayapul, from where you will drive back to Pokhara.
Day 16:
Take a bus ride to Chitwan National Park, where many wonderful sites and fun-packed activities lay in store for you.
Day 17:
Exploring the park at your own pace and with your own choice of transport. Take your pick from a 4-wheel drive Jungle Safari, a relaxing canoe trip down the Rapti or Narayani Rivers. You can also take a walk to explore the surrounding villages.
Day 18:
Drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 19:
Depart Kathmandu.
