"Wonderful stay! Amazing private beach on the mouth of the Severn that is waist deep water, our whole family had a blast! We enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding, etc.. We would definitely come back! Unfortunately you're not able to take a water taxi directly from the property, you have to walk over to a nearby marina. Chesapeake Beach looks like a scene from Gilmore Girls! 15 minutes from a larger town with more options. 40 minute scenic drive to Annapolis or D. C. The house is small but perfect for 2 people! "My daughter's family and myself went to DC for my mother's burial at Arlington. It was a quick trip and we're from the area,though no one lives there now, so we needed a place to stay. This was a convenient location close to places to eat, the Metro, and major roadways. It was clean, comfortable, and safe. I'd definitely recommend.
