We brought along all we needed for Thanksgiving Dinner and the kitchen was so well equipped that we actually could have roasted our turkey there but we had that done at home. "My 22-y-o granddaughter joined me for her first trip out of the US. I chose this cottage for its proximity to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and the rocky coast. It was perfect for the two of us, plenty of room, very comfortable, well-supplied kitchen, excellent WiFi, and beautiful walks. The owners responded immediately and helpfully to a mechanical issue. Loved every minute!"

"Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. "
