"My room had a cozy, retro, cabin vibe that was perfect. Clean, bright, warm, the bed was very comfortable. In the heart of Sleeping Bear Dunes and minutes away from all I wanted to do. It was an easy, self check-in that I was well informed of and went off without any glitches. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The entire experience at the Whaleback Inn was like stepping into a small town romance novel. Every cabin was cozy and the owners were very welcoming and hospitable. There was a great community area and ample outdoor seating on the porch, property, and pier that gave the best views. We absolutely loved our time there and will be booking again soon!"

"The location was perfect for our quiet getaway. The hostess was incredibly responsive offering great suggestions for dining, live music and the multitude of outdoor activities of the area. Plus the place was so charming--LOVED the decor! We would absolutely go back. "

"Room 2 is just above the restaurant/bar so it was pretty noisy in the evening. Other than that it was a lovely, comfortable room and we had a great 2-night stay."

"The pictures of this property do not do it justice! This cute, super clean mid century modern chalet has everything you could ever need. The beds were super comfortable, the main spaces for gathering were inviting and cozy. The views out each window are a visibly stunning green space. There is easy access to all the wineries in the area. I would definitely stay there again."

"The house is really well-stocked and in a good location (easy travel times to Lake Leelanau, Traverse City, Glen Arbor, etc.). The dock for the lake is really nice and the lake itself is lovely to splash around in (not too muddy and the shallow part is extensive). "

"Literally amazing… I cannot say enough good things about the house and the host! She checked in a few times over the weekend, making sure all was well. It was nice to be able to text back and forth if needed! The house is immaculate… we had 4 couples and we all had our own space. We made a huge dinner one night and had everything we needed. It is close enough to town but far enough that you feel peace and no hustle bustle. We will DEFINITELY rent again… I cannot rave enough about this...
