"The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees....

"Felicity's home was the perfect place for our retreat. The common spaces were spacious allowing eight of us to easily come together in the comfortable abundant seating in the main living space and around the dining table. The four bedrooms all contained comfortable warm bedding and mattresses with an extra private room for one of us. The hot tub was clean and heated perfectly -- a big plus we look for in our annual retreats. IN addition, it was a true pleasure communicating with Felicity...

"Beautiful spotless clean home with fully stocked kitchen, high-end appliances, cookware comfortable beds, premium linens and towels. Adjustable lightning throughout was a nice touch. Everything was as advertised making it a perfect stay. Great location about a 2 or 3 minute drive to the beach and just 5 minutes to Cambria with lots of wildlife. Each day deer could be see in the empty field next store. Wild turkeys across the lane. Victor is a wonderful host and kept in contact during our stay...

"My family and I spent Thanksgiving here and had a good time. The host was really communicative and there were enough kitchen supplies for us to do our cooking as well as grill! The hot tub and fire pit were also really nice. For improvements, I think the lighting in the place could be a bit warmer to give an extra cozy vibe, and the dining table larger considering the size of the place. It's a bit too chilly to eat outside during colder months. During summer it would be really nice though....

"Oceanfront Hacienda is such a hidden gem! I used to live in SC and I can honestly say this is in the top 3 best places to stay. We stayed in the Grotto for one night and it exceeded our expectations. They have done a great job of keeping the old charm of the property, it’s obvious that the owners really love it. The area is so charming and very walkable, with several dining options and a great coffee shop. The beach, SC pier, and SC train station are right across the street. Things to be aware...

"I really liked how the nieghborhood was really peaceful, most of all I really liked how clean the property was. The beach is also a three minute drive which my kids love and the property also has a beautiful garden to enjoy a picnic. Overall it was a very beautiful experience and for a fare price. I would definitely come back."

"Perfectly adequate for our friends trip to Disneyland. Not an easy walk to the park, we ended up using Uber. Outside spaces not well maintained. Could see the fireworks from the front yard/driveway."

"This was a nice little get away. Great communication with owner. We did notice there was a lot of dirty dishes and the shower nob was broken. Also the other shower by the bathroom drained very slow. "
