"Lovely, hotel i paid to upgrade the room to a king size bed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. Only niggle is the bathroom, there was a crack in the sink and the bath had a lot of mildew on the silicon. The pool is quite small but very clean. I would stay there again."

"Comfortable B&B with pleasant decor throughout. Host was very kind and catered for my gluten free requirements at breakfast. The King room was lovely but watch for the beams if you are tall. And the bathroom, though private, was one floor down and not lockable from the outside so anyone could also use it. But robes were provided for privacy and the bathroom was large and very clean. "

"Enjoyed a pleasant short stay here as a family. Service in the pub/restaurant/breakfast was prompt and friendly and food was good quality and value. Our room was unexpectedly warm for the time of year, despite radiators being turned-down but there was already a good fan in the room to counter this. "It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK. Would consider staying there again if we are ever in the area."
