"The views were top notch, it was wonderful to see the different phases of the weather/clouds and the alps. The host was responsive. The home was clean and nice but a bit further out of town than I expected. The stairs to get to the front door were challenging for my elderly parents. "My wife celebrated her 80th birthday while here. This trip was her lifelong dream. Our three sons made all the travel arrangements and other than the trip over and back we couldn’t have done more to make this dream a reality. The accommodations were great and the location stunning. The wx was great, we only had a few hit & miss showers over two days. Not much we could complain about. We would not try to discourage anyone from staying here. Thanks to the owners & VRBO."

"We loved the view! Access between the unit and Wengen was easy via the free van service during their service hours. Outside of the service hours (after 20:00 and before 08:00) it can get pricey paying for a taxi. The walk is nice but there is no sidewalk so it can be dangerous. The loft is accessible by a steep ladder and the ceiling is not standing height. The beds were super comfortable. We had a wonderful stay! The area is just spectacular for hiking and exploring."

Each morning and evening, we could hear cow bells from the surrounding farms, and the view from the back porch over the hills was stunning. Habkern is a more rural option than others many tourists go to but it was a great base for us to use because we went to many different areas around the Jungfrau region. "This property is absolutely wonderful, and the hosts are amazing. The gorgeous chalet overlooks Grindelwald, and at nighttime the deck and meadow are great for stargazing. My family of 8 stayed here for a nearby wedding, and it was very comfortable and spacious. The two refrigerators was great for our large family, and the ping pong table provided hours of fun for us. I highly recommend this property!"
