"This house is just as lovely in person as the pictures show. And the owners are amazing people that made a personal visit to make sure we had a working ceiling fan; above and beyond for sure! The house was surface area clean, but the couch and throw pillows could use a cleaning (maybe it is end of summer smell). The proximity to the beach is absolutely amazing. "It’s a beautiful place but lots of stairs my kids and elderly parents had trouble with climbing up and down the steps in the front of the house only way to access the house and also the steep stairs in the house home was pretty dirty and garbage is were completely full and falling out onto the ground, which the owner did take care of after I pointed it out but not sure it was cleaned before our arrival due to cobwebs and stains on the pillows that we had a good time I just wouldn’t recommend it...

"Our three-household family gathers every August for several days in a nice vacation spot. In the past, we reserved a large cabin at Lake Tahoe. This year, we decided to spend a week near beaches in Santa Cruz. The house on W. Cliff Drive was perfect for us. We'll have to do it again someday. "

"This house has great views from living room and the master bedroom. We were able to spot a few whale spouts, dolphins, and otters. It has easy access to the beach and walk on E Cliff Dr towards Capitola's downtown is very pleasant as well."
