"Boot Key Bungalow was the cleanest, stylish and most comfortable place we’ve stayed in Marathon over the last 15 years, while coming down for lobstering season.First and most important for our stay was the boat and trailer parking situation. "Tarpon Lagoon is one of the BEST places we have ever rented thru VRBO. You cannot beat the location, the great pool and dock area, the home with lots of space, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, great washer&dryer (really needed by the saltwater) and very responsive owners and caretakers. The unexpected happens and a couple major items needed to be fixed and they were very quickly. "Our family and friends had a great trip. The house is located in an unbeatable location directly on the open gulf. Only slightly critical feedback would be that the kitchen could use a little bit of an update. But I would absolutely return to this beautiful property! Pool and jacuzzi were a big hit! "We had a fabulous time staying here! Check-in and communication was easy. The house comfortably fit 10 people. The kitchen was well-stocked even though we brought some of our own stuff. My favorite feature is the separate ice maker we could all fill our Stanley’s from. The pool was wonderful although we did bring our own umbrella for some shade.
