"A clean, spacious cabin with a nice game area where kids can spend time, giving adults quiet time upstairs.Everything was updated and and working.The cabin sits at 11,000 feet and is very quiet and private. Road to access the cabin is a little washboard and bumpy, but access is otherwise simple. Plenty of wildlife to see in the area too. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We will be back soon. "

"All the information I needed to get in to the cabin was sent to me prior to arriving which made it easy since there wasn’t much service at the property itself. The cabin was beautiful and fully equipped with everything you would think you may need for your trip! They made it easy to enjoy your time. There was a private hot tub on the property which was awesome! Overall, the experience and location was amazing and would return in the future! "

"Thanks for the quiet and comfy place as a sweet rereat for a few days. It was convenient to Salida (art!). We took a pretty hike along the river and enjoyed some good eats in town (the newish Tacos Tapatio!!!). We appreciated staying away from town at night - quiet, babble of the stream, being amongst all those lovely, lime green aspen, and a very comfortable bed to sleep in. For sure, we'd come again! Also, the short welcome video for Creekside was really helpful!"

"Great spot between monarch and Salida. Hot tub worked great. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub not as private as the picture implies. Highway quite loud (woke kids up several times). Internet spotty at best. Kitchen had pots/pans/ dishes but zero condiments. Hard to prepare your own meals with nothing to add (ie olive oil, salt, pepper, ketchup etc). It would be impossible to cook many meals there unless you brought your own spices and condiments. Found it odd since that’s part of the draw to...

"Our family had a wonderful stay. The chalet is charming with comfy beds, nice bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and two living areas. The location is spectacular. The house is in the woods with lovely views of the mountains and the wrap-around deck was perfect for sitting and relaxing. The cute town of Palmer Lake was 5 minutes one direction and I25 was 5 minutes the other direction. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"I came out with my little beagle for some spring skiing. The cabin was a great dog friendly place to stay and relax for the week we were there. It was clean and warm. It has a nice kitchen which had plenty of pots and pans to cook which I did almost every night. Though the didn’t use the loft it had another bed and a tv a couch. The cabin was close to skiing and hiking and had a great time doing both. Would definitely stay there again. "
