"I come to this lake all the time as my parents have a home on the lake. This cute little place was perfect for myself and my sister to stay during a weeklong family vacation. It had everything we needed and just a walk across the street to our families house. Despite the unseasonable cold and rainy weather it was a relaxing peaceful stay here! I would rent again here."

"Overall this property was ok. Our biggest complaints are that after multiple messages, texts & phone calls, we never were able to get a hold of the property manager. We had questions throughout our stay, and a jacket was accidentally left by one of our kids & we cannot get a hold of anyone to try & recover it. This is disappointing! We even called VRBO customer service w to attempt to reach them & they were no help at all either. Second, there are ZERO window coverings, even in the bedrooms....

"Recently stayed at the Lakeview cottage and it was an exceptional experience. The comfort of the cottage along with cozy Adirondack chairs and a nice gas fire pit overlooking the lake make it perfect for relaxing evenings. Steven, the host was outstanding in communication, ensuring a smooth and welcoming stay. This place is a hidden gem!"

"We loved our stay on the lake! The booklet with recommendations were awesome for us never having been to this area! Fox Lake and Beaver Dam were both cool towns to explore! We loved being right on the water, fishing off the dock and enjoying some time out on the kayaks that were provided in the boathouse. Also in the boathouse were a ton of yard games our family had a lot of fun with. We also loved just hanging out around the fire or watching one of the many movies they had. We hope to be back!"

"House is in extreme need of updating and maintenance. Furniture is as little as possible, need mirrors and tables. Paint color and lighting are dark and gloomy. Every drain in the home does not drain properly. The tub/shower has vintage stains in the bottom. The kitchen is outfitted for minimal use with vintage utensils and dishware. Major updating of home and furnishings is needed."

"The house had everything we needed for a week stay. Lots of games in the basement for kids to play. Kayaks and paddle boat were great for the kids when the weather was nice. We caught lots of fish both off the dock and out on the lake. I will say the lake is over run with catfish, but we caught lots of crappie too. Will definitely consider coming back in a few years when my niece graduates. Thanks for letting us stay!"
