"Nice little guest house with beautiful views over Hart Bay. Very comfortable for two people. Kitchen well supplied to allow for some cooking. Beach towels and chairs provided, which was a bonus. Host on property and very responsive. Property is dependent on rain for all water, so necessary to conserve water (and purchase all drinking water). Pool deck could use some upkeep. Road to the house is not for the faint of heart - definitely need an SUV and have to drive carefully on the narrow/rough...

"I wouldn’t want to experience St. John any other way. This is on a very quiet area of the island. Far from the tourists. I am a camper/ backpacker. I seek remote areas to be close to nature. This was perfect. This is not a hotel. It’s also not camping. You have some luxuries that are certainly appreciated. St. John is an expensive trip and this fit my budget. The owners are so sweet and helpful. They offered so much insight into the areas we wanted to explore. Without question, the most helpful...

"Jim was a wonderful host with good practical and helpful information. Quite comfortable for 2 couples, and well equipped. Super comfortable beach chairs and cooler were used every day and were fantastic. Decking was a highlight. Just great for morning coffee sunrise, outdoor dining, lounges were a big plus too. Views were great and easy access off the main road. Would definitely return"

"Wow, what a view! This is our 6th trip to St. John and we have rented a home each time but the view from Sugar Bird topped them all. Sitting on the deck each morning watching the sun rise over the islands of the BVI was wonderful. The cottage as described is cozy but met our needs. The galley kitchen had all the necessary accessories for meal preparation and the deck on the grill was handy. We love the location for quick trips to Salt Pond and hiking Rams Head. "Tommy was great to work with. Loved being able to walk to the beach. Great for sunsets. Cottage worked great for us. Note that there is no view from the cottage. It’s tucked away. If you’re looking for a place with a view this is not it. Also note the Peter Bay beach is small (narrow). Great for sitting in chairs. Not great for swimming (too rocky). But this worked for us. Enjoyed our stay."

"The island is a great oasis for someone looking to recharge their batteries. The cottage location is perfect with an amazing view. There is no hustle or bustle to entertain you but there is beautiful water, amazing scenery, and wonderfully friendly islanders to meet. "

"Absolutely amazing stay. Bon Bini (and St. John in general) exceeded our expectations. The cottage was in a fabulous location, just above Coral Bay, with stellar views and a very comfortable set up. It was a quick drive to Salt Pond Bay, for snorkeling with sea turtles and the Ram's Head hike, as well as several other beaches/bays part of VINP. Not as close to Cruz Bay, but we didn't mind as there were a few small shops for quick supplies close by, plus the drive was always a thrill! We enjoyed...
