"the cabin had everything to offer! Loved the hot tub, the wrap around porch, a cosy bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. We had trouble finding a roster for a couple of days, but then we found it on the back of the bottom cabinet. We had so much fun! Felt very safe and very comfortable. Thank you very much!"

"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily...

"We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek."

"My wife and I are considering moving to SW Virginia and have spent increasingly more time there. We loved the location of the Blue House as well as the house itself. Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, open and spacious. Abbey and Ron have done a fantastic job on the house and are gracious hosts. Check in and check out were simpler than any hotel. "There is an issue with the oven it needs to be cleaned"

"- AC units in neither of the downstairs bedrooms worked properly - No indication that the property was so close to a major highway, in fact the pictures gave the feeling of being more out in the country - The hot-tub had dead leaves on the bottom. Not sure if they were left from the previous tenants or someone local had used it."
