We enjoyed swimming in the nearby Ovens River, birdwatching in the beautiful garden, walking to local cafes and hotels and short drives to Alpine Perrenials, Bright and Mt Hotham to view the mountain tops. An exceptionally beautiful and comfortable stay. Thank you Anne and John"

"The newly constructed River Barn is a great spot with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. You can wander down along the river which is part of the property, our little dog had a great time exploring. The listing on Stayz was unfortunately misleading, stating a travel time of 53min to Mt Hotham whereas the road is actually closed in winter so it's 3+ hours which scuttled our snowboarding plans. The driveway is a bit dicey - if you have a car with low clearance you might struggle....
