"Amazing place, very spacious pool table very nice touch. You’re not right on the trail, but you have access to the snowmobile trails without trailing. Definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large group that is looking to spend some time on the snowmobile trails in Cape Breton. "

"Property was as described . The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. Our host Barb was very responsive to our questions. Would highly recommend this place if you have a large group. We were 8 golfers and the 3 Cabot course’s are down the road and you are also close to the beach."

"Beautiful place and we had a great time thanks a lot"

"Here are a few things that we would like to add: There was not enough shampoo, no saran wrap or foil paper, no tea or coffee, no curtains in patio door. Oven mitts should be replaced as one of the ladies got burned removing something from oven. Every place that we stayed had enough shampoo and all these items mentioned above.We would like to say thank you for letting us sign in at 3 pm instead of 4 pm which helped a lot."

"We spent a week on Cape Breton in this beautiful property for our first stay in Nova Scotia. The house is well equipped and has a high standard. It had everything we needed and the kitchen with the view was gorgeous. Michael was a very helpful and responsive host and we appreciated all the help. We hope to get to return someday to this beautiful place! cluff "

"We were two couples touring cape breton; the Collingwood villa was a great place to regroup and rest for 2 days ; place had amazing pristine beach and beautiful sunsets; great spot to visit the local attractions in Mabou and Port Hood . Definitely a must stay if your in the area ; and a bonus wss thw 10 /lbs lobster down tje road "

"The house was quite nice overall. A little disappointing that the woodstove didn't work, especially as the weather was cool and wet. The water is quite soft, but tastes good; and the water heater works fine. We spent a chilly first night as the baseboard heaters were set to 10C (50F), and the control buttons are really tiny and hard to notice. A heads up from the owner would have been helpful. It was plenty warm once I found the controls. The setting is beautiful, and the stairs down to the lake...

"A unique stay in a great location. Everything you need in a compact way. You just need to be careful on the ladder with the middle of the night trip to the toilet! "

"What a great little cabin tucked away from it all! We thought we were WAY off the beaten path because of the way we arrived, only to find coming in from the other end of the road was a much closer trip into town. The place was spotless and we loved the privacy. View was outstanding and the private beach was such a treat. Had dinner at the Clove Hitch - delicious. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone traveling to this area. "

"Great location when youre travelling the Cabot Trail! The hosts are very kind and answer quick. Very clean, very cozy, hot tub is an added bonus and perfect way to relax after hiking. We would stay again if we are in the area."

"We were delighted with the layout and the view. The sound of the waves splashing against the wharf was very soothing. Beds were comfy, kitchen was nicely stocked. Good communication with the owner. Overall, a lovely place."

"We had a lovely stay! The beautiful, quiet neighborhood, hot tub and the very comfy beds were highlights of the visit. Thanks very much."

"Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked.
