"We had a lovely time at Hemlock Haven! We spent several days mining for Herkimer diamonds and the cabin was an excellent place to relax after spending the day outside. It is fairly quiet, cozy, and pretty easy to drive to. The hosts had a few extra touches to make it even more welcoming. Definitely recommend for a little R&R!!"

"The cabin experience was more than we expected. It was beautiful inside and out. It was very clean at arrival. We loved sitting outside listening to the owls at night, the kids skipped rocks on the pond and we stayed up late playing board games. I wish we had stayed longer since we had such a great time!! "

"1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. "Rustic cabin. Small beach is 1/4 walk. Nice outdoor area at cabin. Limited outlets, none in bathroom. Heating consists of a few space heaters. One AC upstairs in flex room and some fans. Nice furniture and appliances. Glad we could bring our dog."

"8 college friends gathered at this property, a short drive to Sacandaga Lake. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room seats 10, living room with fireplace and TV, plenty of sleeping space. Was easily able to communicate with owner and hope to return soon."
