"We absolutely LOVED our stay here. We stayed for one night to attend a family wedding nearby in aurora, and we were in love with the springside. The rooms are adorable, just our style, and the entire property is gorgeous. The vintage style is so fun and comfy, and it’s very clean and well taken care of. It was a huge bonus that it’s close to the lake because I’m a runner and there was lots of beautiful scenery as I did my five mile run this morning. If I could give the inn 10 stars I would, we...

"People were nice and place was clean. Dog barked all night and had somebody knock on my door at 1140 at night when I was in bed. Thankfully there was a bat to take to door just in case. Bathroom sink did not work. I think its their first time doing this so I would give them a break. "

"Shelwyn was awesome to deal with. He responded ASAP when we had a question about the shower. Was upfront and helpful. He was in his house on the property but gave us our privacy. The last day of our stay he said take your time getting out because he didn’t have another booking following us. Worked out great as we were moving onto a bigger spot with the rest of our family on Saturday but couldn’t check in until 4. Thank you Shelwyn for everything and being so easy to deal with- we will be back !!"

"Space-wise and location were great. The stairs and humidity/moisture were not. With an infant the stairs were a problem. They should be. Red somewhere in the description. There was a definite musty smell when we checked in. Maybe the use of a dehumidifier would help. The location and view are great."

"Lake was beautiful, was able to dock our boat (shallow water and lots seaweed near the dock, but didn’t impact our fun). The house was well maintained, comfortable beds, nice kayaks and paddleboard available and many yard games in great condition with a large yard to enjoy the space with easy parking for a boat trailer. Easy check-in and out process. Owner shared information about the area and house with quick responses. Would stay again. "

"What a delightful stay! The house and property are well maintained. Easy and quick lake access, which is also safe and adequate for kids of all ages. Various opportunities to enjoy the outdoors whether on the lake, on the lawn or from the screened in porch. The property is owner is easy to reach and super helpful. We've stayed twice and left rejuvenated and ready to reenter reality each time."

"This is our 4th year renting this beautiful home. It is perfect for our “kids” and grandchildren to enjoy hours of fun swimming in the lake, and enjoying s’mores at the lakeside fire-pit at night. There’s always several families of baby ducks that stop by looking for treats. The livingroom is spacious and great for family time. The kitchen is well stocked, and the dining room table seats the whole family. We plan to come back again. "

"A fun, clean place to stay. We took advantage of all amenities; fire pit, picnic table, kayaks, canoe, and outdoor grill. Scenery was awesome, especially from the rocking chairs in the patio. Highly recommended. "

"Awesome house. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. We cooked dinner 4 nights. Kitchen was huge with super large refrigerator/freezer. Rented a boat and docked it at property. Will definitely come back. "
