"If you can believe it, the pictures do not do this place justice. It is an excellent property. Super welcoming and cozy with lots of space to accommodate everyone. My parents own a house down the lake so we mainly used this space for sleeping only but we had some teenagers with us and I didn't hear a thing while they stayed up late and I retreated to the upstairs area. "This location could not have been better for us - our only complaint is that we had to leave! It's called Beaver Pond, but down here in Virginia it would definitely be called a lake. We really enjoyed the easy access to the kayaks and canoe, saw a beaver, fished and caught small mouth bass, yellow perch, and even a pickerel! "Our family had an excellent stay! What a beautiful space with everything you might need. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions. At one point during our stay, we lost power for a few hours due to a storm; our hosts even called to find out when electricity would be restored. We made dinner with all of the provided flashlights and wonderful memories were made. It truly became a home away from home. Thank you, Jess and Clay! A! We already miss our time on Valentine...

Great layout for four couples, well and thoughtfully equipped, on a large lot with great lake frontage and a porch with great lake views.
