"Great spot! The walls seem a little thin and unfortunately we had a rude neighbour Who banged on our wall a lot. The room and property were amazing! Very spacious and has everything you need for a weekend stay! "

"This is my second time staying here and I will stay here whenever it’s available for my trips to Dartmouth. It’s comfortable, quiet, close to downtown and the ferry to Halifax. The owner is on site and communication is clear. Lots of amenities in both units as I’ve stayed in both and they are very clean and we maintained. Parking on site. Such a great spot. "

"Hot tub great. Lighting could have been better. Kitchenette area dark to work in and only had one plug for 4 appliances, made cooking difficult. No TV channels."

"Good sized bedrooms w/ good mattresses, 5 minute walk to ferry; row of restaurants 3 blocks away but kitchen trash can was full, floors were dirty. No curtain on best room facing main street, bathroom smells,closets and shelves are mostly full, kitchen has no stove or hot plate."

"Everything was nice, but there was no railings on the stairs to the basement. Also the TV did not work and the ownerdid not rely to our questions."

"Bring your groceries and leave your worries behind. This out-of-the-way vacation cottage is a great place to settle in and watch the waves. We spotted seals, eagles and fishing boats gliding past. The road onto the island, with it's twists, turns and one-lane bridge, adds to the charm. The property provides a sense of isolation but neighbours are nearby if needed. "Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe."

Unit is in a prior commercial or retail space so not best outside appeal but was quiet and safe while we were there 2 days. Other units in the building. Good value. Clean and comfortable. "

"The building seemed a bit run down on first impression. It was also somewhat difficult to find as the address was number 30 but the house had different numbers at the front. However once we figured it out, the parking was great and the apartment was very nice. We found several places to eat within an easy walk. The host was very responsive. Our only suggestion is the couch in the living room is not very comfortable and sags when you sit down. "

"This is a beautiful property! The home comes with everything you need for both short and long term stays. It’s a very unique property and Jim has done an amazing job renovating his place. The stairs were a little difficult for my 91 year old mom but other than that we really loved our stay!"

"Están construyendo alrededor por lo cual no es accesible fácilmente, su personal es muy amable pero no cuentan con asistencia para equipaje, no tienen bell boys. Tuvo que ayudarme una recepcionista porque el acceso a las habitaciones de pisos bajos es complicado. El restaurante es perfecto y tienen excelente servicio. "
