"We stayed in this home for 2 nights during our trip to Maine. The place is in close proximity to a few convenience and grocery stores, as well as many restaurants and beautiful hiking trails in a ski village. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we enjoyed the balcony at the back of the place, which has a view of the river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and this place was a great spot for us to relax after busy days in Sugarloaf. "

"Owner is very nice. Room was newly renovated and had a nice kitchen. Fun lounge and game room. Easy load in and out. They had Carrabassett Coffee company for the room too and sold toothbrushes in the office! Beds were so-so for comfort but overall a great stay."

"Loafer’s Lodge was everything as described but better! Well-appointed with all the creature comforts of home made our family feel welcome. The mudroom is spacious, heated & included boot/glove dryers so our gear was dry & ready every morning as we headed out the door to the slopes.
