"Every one of us loved it here - grown ups, kids, and dog. We had many great adventures in a short time and wished we could have stayed longer. "We had a lovely stay in this rustic Cape Breton cottage! The building itself is quite old, and shows its character. It was good for three people, but would be tight for a family or larger group. There's no direct beach access, but it's a 2 minute drive away (or less), and the water was beautiful. "When visiting the impressive Louisbourg Fortress I wanted a quiet place away from noisy hotels and I found it. Excellent place to stay above 45 minutes away from the fortress but in the boonies. It’s a small cabin, rustic but with shower, hot water, kitchen, fridge, stove and a cozy bed. The screened in gazebo deck was super nice separating me from the voracious mosquitos. Super clean and a real nice quiet place to stay. Will try to book again when in Cape Breton. "
