"The Brewer street sign was obscured by branches. So we drove right by it at first the street looked a little sketchy, but it was clean and quiet. The residence was very nice. Our apartment was immaculate and the amenities plentiful. We had a very nice stay."

"Island Place is an amazing stay to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia. The hotel is clean and well maintained and walking distance from downtown and the Village Green. We were able to walk to the shuttle buses instead of driving. Maureen and everyone there are the nicest people we've encountered at a hotel ever. They have amazing recommendations and made us feel like home. We are eager to come back!"

"A friendly, family run inn. Very typical of old Maine style with cute wallpaper, wood floors, and old Maine charm. If you are looking for modern luxury this isn’t for you. However, if you want a lovely inn with a ton of charm and a great price on the island, then you won’t find better than the Harbourside. The bedroom was big with a very comfortable bed and lovely bed linens. It’s an easy walk to Northeast Harbor with excellent shopping and restaurants."

"Great place. Close to everywhere and you can walk to the beach and shuttle bus which will take you to the Acadia park. Very well managed inn. Will stay again. "

"First time bed and breakfast stay and it was amazing! Christi and Matt were so welcoming and had some recommendations to give us which was very helpful. The view is absolutely beautiful! Our room was perfect - had a comfy king bed with an updated bathroom, including an amazing shower. Multiple options for breakfast that Chrisi whips up and it was delish! Will definitely be back!!"
