"Our family stayed here for a short little vacation and had a blast. The house looks just like the pictures and the fenced in area of the yard was great for the dogs. There is also a doggy door, which I didn’t realize when booking but we loved having it. Its just a short drive to devils fork state park. We rented a pontoon for a day ao the whole family could be on the lake together. We also took a john boat with us and had no trouble parking at the house. The drive way if definitely a little hill...

"My husband and I arrived at the Lake Bowen cottage on a very hot summer day. We had an easy entry and welcomed the air conditioning and easy walk to the water. Everything was clean and comfortable. This is an upstairs apartment and we are in our seventies, but our own home has stairs and these were no problem for us. The lake site was great; shopping and restaurants are an easy drive. We hope to return one day -- our four-night stay was our favorite lake experience."

"Cottage is very cute, clean, & decorated nicely. I love how they designed the house to make two cottages without being cramped. The way it is laid out flowed nicely. We did not hear the person in the other cottage at all. The only caveat is the space between this house & the neighbors. Perhaps some neat landscaping or fence to give more separation & privacy. "

"This home was amazing! Everything was perfect. Leo was a great host, he communicated well and the extras were unexpected. The fridge was stocked with a variety of beverages, various creamers and even ice cream bars! The cappuccino machine was a hit with the wife and kids (they are adults) and I enjoyed the variety of K-cups provided! Leo provided a bunch of snacks and candy as well. We have stayed at many homes, Leo is the best host we’ve ever had. There is a great covered porch space to...
