"Owner was very nice and accomodating. The home is in a quiet , nice neighborhood, only 1-1/2 blocks to Transit Center an easy walk with skis and boots to catch the Town Ski Bus Shuttle to the Resort. The town is so quaint and pretty with all the Christmas lights and lots of snow - it was fun to walk to the downtown for dinner."

"Good budget option. It’s a lot of room for the money, with high ceilings and a sitting room besides the large bedroom. Keep in mind that it’s on the first floor, right beside the exit. Ski boots and slamming doors begin around 8am. You can hear loud rock and roll from the lobby until late, like 11 o’clock. This room, as well as the rooms surrounding it are short term rentals, which allow dogs. Every room had dogs and there was a bit of barking. The management company is difficult to contact and...

"It was absolutely amazing! My family of 18 people spent Christmas in Creste Butte. Teresa was so kind and made sure that everything was wonderful for us. My communication with her was great. She answered any questions that anyone in my family had. Eric, the property manager, was really nice and so helpful with anything we needed. "Location on the VRBO app appeared to be in town, but was too remote to walk anywhere. Free bus stop was reportedly at end of street, but not evident, nor convenient to walk without a sidewalk. Property is on a dirt road, making access difficult in snow that could not be fully cleared. After the blizzard, a private crew promptly cleared porches and front walk. The shower amenities were great, and towels were substantial. Lighting was insufficient, exacerbated by several burned out bulbs. Views...

"Our family booked a last minute trip from our home here in CO to this lovely condo for a ski getaway. It was absolutely perfect! You can ski out from the end of the parking lot to the West Wall lift and from there, get anywhere on the mountain you wish. The condo was spacious and well equipped and I love that it is on the corner. We were able to sit outside in the comfy chairs to watch the sunset. The beds were comfy and the wood burning fireplace is a major plus! We absolutely will book again....

"The place was clean and looked just like the photos. It was a perfect location for catching the shuttle up to the ski lifts and only about a 3-4 minute drive to the grocery store/downtown. You could walk, but it was cold during our trip. Definitely would stay again!"

"Nice place for 3 night stay for six person ski trip. The property isn't exactly ski in/out but close enough. The cable went out for most of our stay and the TVs are too old for casting. One person in our group randomly had a USB-C to HDMI connector for the upstairs TV. The upstairs isn't really made for six dudes trying to watch playoff football. Alpine property said they would "refund some " but no word since Sunday."

"This place is very nice with great views anf neighbors. We got our car stuck in the snow, they forgot to plow the driveway, but Jerry from next door came to our rescue. He got the neighbors together and pulled us out. Then he shoveled our driveway while we were unpacking. Great hosts as well, excellent communication. Just a wonderful time!"

"We enjoyed our time at the Cascadilla house in CB South. We frequent the CB / Gunnison area once a year and try different VRBOs. This one was very nice. Spacious, even though we did not use the basement level. Very comfortable with great views. We even heard elk bugling at night. The shower has great water pressure. Only complaint was the coffee pot was slow and coffee was not hot. Highly recommend for location, cleanliness, and spaciousness. "
