"This was a very cozy, clean and pleasant cottage for an island getaway. Marie was able to arrange a floral arrangement for my wife’s birthday, which was beautiful and extremely thoughtful. There were plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby and they were only a short distance from the cottage. We would definitely stay there again!"

"As described: secluded, a much- needed respite; chocolates helped! Coqui’s night calls make me sleep though some might need ear plugs. I spent most evenings under the lanai’s bugless tent (green geckos were allowed:-) and beautiful silver pheqsant(!), Bed, couch, HAMMOCK, shower are big plusses. FYI: a short drive from Hilo past 8am is clear; 3:30 onward competes with schoolbus traffic. "When I made the reservation, it was listed as one full (?) bed and roll out sofa. I was surprised to to find an additional full size bed in the living room. which worked out great for us. It should make it more "rentable" in the future. 2 wishes: 1) better directions to get to the property, e.g. make a turn onto Haleki'i St then ... 2) Have some kind of visual identifier to make sure we were at the correct property, e.g. a sign "Casa Grateful" or photo of the outside the house and door.
