The house and property were lovely! Kitchen was completely stocked with everything we could need. We have stayed at a few houses in the OBX and this was our first time staying in Duck. The house was in the perfect location. The view of the sound was amazing and the beach was a short walk/drive away. We brought our golf cart which helped transport people to and from the beach.The property mgmt company was so responsive in all communications. Check in and out was a breeze. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Absolutely Perfect

What a gorgeous property!! The house was unbelievable. 6 huge master bedrooms, comfortable beds and bedding. Large bathrooms with plenty of towels. The kitchen was WELL stocked, everything we needed to cook and serve a huge group. 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, 2 sinks, 2 trash cans … so cool! The elevator was a great addition to the house and made traveling between the 3 floors easy for everyone. And the kids loved it too :) The outdoor area was relaxing, super clean pool and hot tub. All this just steps from the beach but close driving to in-town amenities. And absolute must stay house in OBX!

Latitude adjustment

Overall, great property to stay during out of season. Plenty of room and parking. Easy walk to Town of Duck. Can see sound side from house and can walk to beach 300 yards down street. Minimal supplies so bring extra things like salt and pepper, toilet paper, hand soaps. This property is managed by a local company. So if you book through VRBO, you’ll pay an extra booking fee like I did. Dumb mistake. May want to go straight to property management site directly. I paid more in fees than rental for 4 days.

Exactly what I needed.

This was a little off season escape for me after a tough month at work. It was a great house. Easy walk to the beach. Near everything. Could use a little maintenance: old hot tub cover, master bath faucet leaking but otherwise was a great stay. I go again.

Location

Many great restaurants in the area and easy access to the beach. Definitely recommend the pool heater as our 18 month old loved the warm pool even when it was a little chilly out. Management was very responsive through our the whole process.

Family vacation

All in all a great time and perfect area. Access to beach was right across the street. Could see the ocean from many of the decks. Pool was a little small but clean and adequate. Only real drawback was the lack of a bathroom on the third floor family area - to o use the bathroom on the third floor you had to go through the master bedroom. Would definitely go back however.

NEEDS TONS OF UPDATES

Place was disgusting. Not clean - dirt, dust, old clothes under beds. Floors not clean. Nails and screws sticking up all over deck. Won’t return.

Great Family Trip!

Home was spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. My family enjoyed the home, and the hot tub! The only challenge was with my old parents unable to walk to the beach. Rest all good. Will definitely stay again!

What an Awesome Getaway

We loved the house it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed . We only had to cross the road and walk past one house to be on the beach. Hope we’re able to find open dates to book this house again.

Great location & views, needs better cleaning and some TLC

The Good Great location - public beach access across the street and one drive to the left. Lots of sights, activities, groceries within easy reach. Great decks and ocean views Bed and bath linens in good condition Pet friendly house - no pet odors Easy to rent, check in was efficient, contactless and easy Management company was responsive and helpful The Not So Good Eating out seems to be the expectation. Pots, pans, mixing bowls insufficient to make a meal from scratch effectively. Kitchen - counters, cookware and dishes not clean and needed to be washed before use Microwave - nasty and tripped the breaker Pans - skillets had warped bottoms and did not work well on sealed cook surface Oven - temperature lower than setting, couldn't reach high temps Sofa - seat support broken on one side Paper goods - Dish washing soap not supplied, TP & paper towels skimpy in quantity and quality. Made the place feel a little cheap. House feels a little neglected - needs some maintenance, furniture replacement, better cleaning. Bottom Line Probably would rent again, but would bring additional cooking supplies. Location made up for the negatives.

Great location

The location was excellent ocean views were very good and the walk to the public beach access was literally across the street. The beach was not crowed and was very peaceful. The only draw back was that the house was not very clean. There was food under one bed with ants on it and dust in all the rooms. The bath room in the master bedroom had mold around the jets on the tub. The patio screen door fell off and some railings were rotted. The stovetop was greasy and not clean. If there was a deep cleaning we would definitely stay there again.

First OBX Adventure

Our group was filled with a bunch of first time OBX vacationers. It is safe to say we chose the right place to stay! We absolutely loved the location, a couple minute walk and your in the ocean! The house was perfect for our size group (3 families with children). We had a couple minor issues during our stay but the property management team was able to address in a timely manner. We would certainly stay at this location again!

We had a spotless property with beds already made. Only issue was blender broke, and the Shore manager materialized with a brand new one within an hour and saved Taco Tuesday. :)

Absolutely Breathtaking View of Ocean on Upper Deck!

We really enjoyed our stay ,excellent location and very,very nice house that is beautifully decorated with a very slightly worn but lived in feel which is ok with people with dogs or kids because its not so pristine you feel like you are really gonna be the first that puts a flaw in it .The location is wonderful and also the pool area and I would highly recommend for all these reasons the only two things I would say needed improvement were the master bedroom and bathroom are not the best layout(too small if I was the property owner I would get rid of the day room and extend the master and bath we didnt even use that area at all) and whoever did the cleaning before our stay did NOT do a good job other than that it was a perfect stay.My over all review I would have given a 5 if it would have been cleaner but I would give it a solid 4.5 regardless if that were an option.Thank you for letting us use your beautiful house.

Less than 30 minute drive to Hatteras Ferry and 1 hour to S. Nags Head.

Decks in front and rear give great views! Short walk to public beach access. Charcoal grill only. Shops, Grocery store and restaurants within 1 mile. You can hear the ocean waves and lots of road noise from NC12 which is about 20 yards away. Home has all the amenities you will need. We did not care for the cockroaches found dead in the house and alive in the kitchen. Overall good property.
