"Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be...

"I can’t say enough great things about this property. Beautiful inside and out, incredible view, location and special little thoughtful touches I’ve never seen any where else. Host was wonderful to work with and very helpful. Hope to visit again in near future. "

"This property offered the best tiny touches of any I’ve ever stayed in. Though it is a one-bedroom studio, it has things I have never seen in VRBOs like A-tips, cotton balls, a s’mores kit, flashlight and umbrella and frosty mugs in the freezer! Amazing! "

"Great house for family reunion of 13 adults. There was enough space to give everyone the privacy they needed while still enjoying each other's company. David was a good host and responded quickly to any questions before and during our stay. "

"This was a last hurrah for the summer and we packed it in!The house is a perfect layout… we were 6 adults and 4 kids .. everyone had a bed and space to spread out!The deck in the morning is magical and the screen porch at night was filled with laughter.Perfect location, the house had everything we needed and the host was great!"

"The location is superb! Communication with the owners beyond expectations. Met us at the property showed us around and advised what to see or do in the area. One special comment! The view from the property is fabulous, especially the sunset. Absolutely brilliant! "
