"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"We had a great time and will definitely option for a return stay. The house fit our group of 23 comfortably. We enjoyed family dinners on the large picnic table and a nightly bonfire. Our kids ranging in age from 3 to 21 enjoyed boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, biking, and many other things that the house and area had to offer. The cottages were just great.  It gave us just enough privacy when needed. Everything was very clean and setup nicely. Everyone enjoyed the boat...

"Just want to leave a quick review. The King Room w/Kitchenette at the Admiral Sim’s house was the perfect spot for us for our Newport 4 day getaway. Very clean room, clean bathroom with everything you might need for your stay. Kitchenette was just the perfect size for everything we needed, bed was very comfortable, location is fantastic to get anywhere around Newport. Also you couldn’t ask for a nicer, more responsive host! Thank you again! "

"The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring Newport. Very close to restaurants and shopping but walking isn't really an option because the neighborhood leads to a busy road with no sidewalks. Very inexpensive uber ride just about anywhere though. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"Pipers Nest was a great value for the area. We have stayed in nearby properties and this is far superior. Very clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need to just enjoy our relaxing time away. Nice towels and bed linens. It is really two areas on the first and second floor. "A group of friends and I stayed at this property for a weekend and absolutely loved it! The access to the water is amazing, plus the sleeping accommodations are perfect for lots of people.
