Cold weather retreat
We stayed here for a long weekend for our daughter's 5th birthday. We wanted somewhere large enough for our family as well as our friends. Having access to your own bathroom too was a plus. The property manager contacted me prior to about some issues with the property 3 days before our arrival. We were flexible and he was efficient in taking care of things. The property is very clean. The bedding and decor had my mom friends and I googling to find the lamps from a couple of the bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay,. I have sent to my sister in law so they can book their stay as well.

Great Location for Winter Vacation
Family "snow" vacation; skiers, snow boarders, and tubers all had great time. We even had a couple of teens spend the day at the water park. House was very convenient and clean. Unfortunately the photos of the rooms are old. Living room only had seating for 3 people and there were only 2 dining room chairs that could be moved to provide more. No air hockey, but there was the addition of a PacMan video game. There was plenty of dishware, but very few glasses. All in all a good experience, but updating photos and description would be helpful.

Winter Weekend getaway
My husband and I took our adult children and grandchildren to Massanutten resort for weekend of snow tubing and just relaxing family time after the busy holiday. The house was perfect for our family and met all of our needs. Plenty of room for all of us (11 total) the fireplace was nice as a winter storm approached the area blanketing us with cold and snow we stayed warm and toasty as we watched snow fall from the big windows. Location was great and house was just as described. Would definitely recommend!

Celebrating family Christmas
Went to Massanutten for light up the park and Santa’s workshop. Grandkids got Christmas from pops and Nannie. Went tubing at Massanutten. Dinner at Ceros Italian restaurant. Kids enjoyed toys watched a Christmas movie. Had a great time. Bonus because it snowed

Very clean comfortable property
Everything was great except we were a little disappointed when we finished up early one day and went back to relax at the house only to discover that the air hockey table didn't work and the pool table was missing a ball and there was one semi usable cue and no chalk. If I could ahve I would give a 4.5 rating.

Great Location
We came up to see our daughter during JMU’s parent’s weekend and it was a perfect situation. Only 11 miles from the school and very large and spacious. Our daughter stayed with us too. There’s a great game room with pool and air hockey. Definitely recommend, especially for those with large families or lots of friends.

Nice getaway for two families

Parking
Limited parking became an issue. We had 3 families staying and 4 cars. There wasn’t enough room in the driveway without parking on a very steep incline. We had to park on the road and then ran into issues with security. Otherwise it was perfect in every way.

Perfect rental for families
This was a fantastic place for a combination mini-vacation and overnight family reunion hosting 12 people. As repeat visitors to Massanutten over many years, this destination was ideal for a family reunion with an overnight stay. My husband, young boys, and I arrived a few days early to settle in before the rest of our extended family joined us. For a family of four, it was incredibly spacious with picturesque views of the woods and surrounding mountains. The neighboring homes were quiet and the area was very peaceful. Grocery shopping was made easy upon arrival thanks to Instacart so we could avoid another trip out after a 4+ hour drive to the rental. The kitchen is well-appointed and designed for cooking meals along with the capacity to entertain a large group. Each morning we enjoyed coffee on the wrap-around deck, sometimes greeted by a family of deer nearby. The pleasing sounds of nature were a lovely acoustic companion to the fresh mountain air. The rental also includes a pool pass which is accessed by a 2-3 minute drive on the resort. The flat-top grill on the deck was yet another surprise which performed double-duty for dinner and serving up a large family breakfast following the reunion oversight stay with our loved ones. With a crowd of 12 (including 4 kids ages 5-17), everyone had plenty of space across 3 levels of the house, enjoying a very comfortable overnight visit. Nice property. Loved sitting on the deck. Sliding door in master bedroom was difficult to open. Couldn't figure out tvs only the one in pool room worked. But overall was a very nice place
