"The Ledge is an adorable cottage perched on a hill with 180 degree views of waterfront. We saw herons, plovers, pheasants and a bald eagle. The owners were so friendly and kind. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Make sure you stop in Sherbrooke to get groceries and other supplies you want. The location is quite rural. Luckily we bought some precooked meals from a neighbor down the road and they were really delicious. This is a beautiful area of Nova Scotia. "

"The cottage was the perfect place for our small team to set up a 'home base' while working in the area. The location was perfect, the cottage was clean and well kept. The host was great, very responsive, and even checked in on us during a passing tropical storm to ensure everything was ok. I would highly recommend!"

"The location and natural surroundings were stunning. We loved the view, the sound of the waves, and the tranquility. The beach, decks, and exterior furniture were fantastic. Large windows let in so much light, and the WiFi was strong enough for remote work. However, there are some issues. The second bed is just a mattress on the floor, and the first bed was uncomfortable, causing back pain. Basic cooking supplies were minimal, and cell service is spotty. "The host was exceptionally communicative prior to arrival giving very clear instructions on how to find their place. When we met them, they were very kind and considerate hosts offering additional help if it was needed. The setting is wonderful, quiet, serene, and offered a perfect night rest after a full day of motorcycling. Thank you for being great hosts on our 3 day motorcycling journey!"
